The Society has three collections of slides.
These are all accessible to view online at :

The first and largest collection of almost 1000 transparencies was bequeathed by Dr J Philip Dodd MSc MA 1912 – 1993, a local historian, which contains many images taken from the 1960s to 1980s, with a focus for archaeology and domestic architecture.
Some of the slides are from areas outside of Frodsham. His intention was to photographically record Frodsham in the midst of change, and before all traces of the old village had disappeared. Although these cannot be searched by keyword, each image is identified separately.
The second collection was donated by the family of Joseph Barker, a local resident, whose photographs were published in two volumes in the 1980s. Although there is no information alongside the image in the gallery, the books contain reminiscences and identify many of the people in the images.
The third collection from Tom Edmondson includes images from Frodsham, Helsby, Runcorn and elsewhere in Cheshire, all in the 1960s.
